Why we started

Too many of our neighbors were missing medical appointments for one simple reason: they had no dependable way to get there. Ride-shares cancel. Buses don't wait. Family can't always leave work.

So we built the service we wished existed — a local company where the phone is answered by a person, the driver walks you from your door, and a 9:00 AM appointment means an on-time arrival. Today we serve individual passengers, families, caregivers, and healthcare facilities across the Historic Triangle.

Williamsburg Transportation LLC opens on Ironbound Road with a single wheelchair-accessible van and a promise: every ride door-to-door.

Lift-equipped vans join the fleet, adding capacity for wheelchair and long-distance trips across Hampton Roads.
